One of the strange bets that I bet on this month is whether or not someone will be arrested for the racial and homophobic abuse Sol Campbell got when he was playing for Portsmouth against Spurs at the beginning of the month.

There was over 40000 people in the crowd but as the incident has received so much press coverage the police are trying to pick out one or two individuals who were responsible.

The bet which I managed to get is that one person will be arrested in connection with the abuse and charged before the end of the year at 10-1.

I’m not keeping my fingers crossed as its a long shot but if it happens I Will be a tenner up. Woot.

I think I would have got better odds on the lottery.
