I’m always on the look out for strange bets but almost certain bets with high odds as most gamblers are, and the more I watch the news the more I get the feeling that Gordon Brown will leave his role as prime minister before the next party conference at the end of next month.

Even better I can get odds of 11/1 and with all the turmoil that is going on like the country in recession and ministers keep handing in the resignations.

The good bit from a betting point a view is you can get 10/1 on him loosing his job 2008 and 9/1 on him being stabbed in the back and booted out of office in 2009.

I’m going to stick a speculative bet on all three and see what happens as the bet that everyone put on him to become prime minister hasn’t paid off so something must soon.
