10 card rummy with jokers

This is a card game which requires your wit alongside your ability to count some cards.
This game is rummy with the rules slightly different from what you may know already-i don’t know where these rules originated from but the game has come about, it exists and it works! I’ve been playing for about 10 years now and I must say that i’m quite good. If your reading this either get back to work, stop dreaming about being an amazing card player or thinking you’re going to beat me. I’m afraid you don’t have the quality at this level to compete.

The Rules;

The game is designed for 2 – 8 or more players – any more than 4 players requires two packs of cards.

The aim of the game is for 1 player to remain inside of 101 points whist the rest go over to win the match.

To win a round 1 player must achieve 3 sets of cards totaling 10 cards in a particular fashion.

A=Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J=Jack, Q=Queen K=King, h=hearts, d=diamonds, c=clubs s=spades
so Ah = Ace of hearts

A set of 3 – can contain 3 of the same value card e.g. Qh, Qd, Qc or suited run e.g. 4s, 5s, 6s
A set of 3 – can contain 3 of the same value card e.g. Ks, Kd, Kh or suited run e.g. 10s, 5s, 6s
A set of 4 – can conain 4 of the same value card e.g. Jh, Jd, Jc, Js or suited run e.g. As, 2s, 3s, 4s

One of the sets MUST contain a suited run. you CANNOT have 3 sets of a collection of similar value cards.

Red, that’s right, I was betting on red.

I played minimum on red, just to risk it, hell i’m going to say it again in case you missed it.
I played minimum on red, just to risk it, it wasn’t black so don’t try to twist it.

In this case I managed to win all of £37-but very quickly, it was earned in about 15 minutes that’s an hourly rate of just under £150 an hour, boring but profitable.

So, to cap off, this strategy doesn’t win you big money, it wins you slow money, but winning is winning and its more than you came in with. Have a drink, relax, tell your dad not to apply for that bailiff position as you’re a winner and always will be-providing that you don’t change the strategy, if you do, change your collateral to reflect this.

BEWARE – on many casino tables there is a maximum bet limit when betting on the colours and in the casino i was in the limit was £500.00 so if 10 of your opposite colour does come out then you will find that you will need quadruple the collateral

Are we ready to bet £5.00? Make sure the rent is paid or you’ll have bailiffs at the door, you’ll have bailiffs inside the door, you’ll have bailiffs breaking doors, you’ll have bailiffs building doors and then breaking them for the sheer fun of it. But worst of all you will have-and almost every time have Snoop Dogg and the Doors shooting at you (providing you live in the City of Angels and you borrowed money from Mr. Dogg himself).

7. You place you hard earned ‘green queen’ on the table and hope the ball is on your side of the betting line. Oh dear me-it lands on black and now we are down £7.75.

8. What do we do now, we bet £10.00 this covers the £7.75 running total that we have just lost and in the evenuality that it comes in we are still up £1.25.

I’m not going to name any more steps-it seems quite straight forward from here but i’ll re-cap.

You put MINIMUM bet on, if it wins just do it again-WITH THE MINIMUM
If it looses, double the bet that you just lost until you win-then start all over again.

I know what your thinking it could get silly and this is where i explain the drawbacks of this type of gambling.

if you get 10 Blacks consecutively and the beginning bet was £1.25 you would end up betting like this;

£1.25 -> £2.50 -> £5.00 -> £10.00 -> £20.00 -> £40.00 -> £80.00 -> £160.00 -> £240.00 ->£480.00

As you can see here having only £500.00 on you is not enough you would actually need £1038.75 to cover the eventuality of 10 of your opposite colour coming out.

Lucky for you, the law of averages says that if there is 100 spins 50 will be red and 50 will be black, so we do an average of 10 spins, 5 will be red and 5 will be black. this can go wrong and i have seen 15 reds roll out, and yes I was betting on…..

PICK A COLOUR – Thats right this choice is up to you RED or BLACK, whichever you choose will either win you money fast or win you money slow. In any case you’re going to win some money. The purpose of this is that you are going to be betting on this colour-never, ever, ever, ever change your colour, even when things are looking bleak. If you follow the plan as instructed all will come good.

So you’ve got the required for this attempt at taking home some cash? £500, no fear, and a colour in mind (so long as it isn’t green) ?

You go to a casino or play online if you dare.

Get to a roulette table.

1. Place the minimum bet on your chosen colour, in my case it’s red.

2. Give it a spin, and lets see what happens.

3. On the occasision it comes in on red i’ve just doubled my money. now go back to step 1 and do it again OR it comes in black and i’ve just lost £1.25. Go to step 4.

4. So i’ve just lost £1.25-oh well, it could be worse, i could have been kidney jabbed by a rogue youth entrepaneur of the streets and stripped of my phone, wallet and new customised nike trainers. But what happens here is the exciting part. I now place a bet for £2.50. If it comes in-i’ve won £5.00 but not really, all thats happened is i’ve won £1.25 having just invested £3.75 into getting that £5.00.

5. Lets see what happens on this spin with £2.50 bet on red- it comes in on black and i loose the £2.50.

6. Now its time to step up, bet £5.00. What your doing is doubling your stake each time you loose, this will cover what you lost in the previous round.

Recently I have visited a specific casino in Manchester-I’m not going to name it as i’ll probably end up bad mouthing it very soon if my gambling antics continue along their course of action.

On a particular visit I decided to play the roulette table, only on this occasion it happened to be the automated machine which you can actively place bets on using a touch screen monitor.

A strategy which has been around for some time wich i decided to adopt was simply betting on red or black, never both, no numbers or sections of the table for that matter.

So i’ll explain the strategy here that I was using and there are a few things to consider before even attempting this.

COLLATERAL – this is key, I say “cash is king”. Collateral is a particular amount of cash you will need before attempting this strategy of betting. As they say, money makes money. A nice amount to walk in with would be 500 royal foils, queen heads, green queens, quids, whatever you feel like calling it on the day, just make sure you’ve got at least 500 of whichever currency you’ll be using. In my case 500GBP.

HARDENED STEEL PRIVATES – these is also a necessity, if your twig and gigglebrries are made up sponge, then you’re not going to do well, you will end up bottling it and bail with a hole in your bank statement, no food, no petrol to get home, bailiffs waiting for you at home, bailiffs waiting for you in the local chippy, bailiffs waiting patiently in your bathroom and worst of all bailiffs in your secret drawer that you never thought anyone would find. Even your own dad takes a part-time job as a bailiff to get your casino owned gold coins. Nobody wants this, everybody needs genitailia formed from a beautiful amalgamation of Iron, Steel, Old English Oak and diamond tipped for maximum robustness. You’re new weapon in your pants will not shrink but rise to the occaision of betting it all to win big.
