Wake me up when September ends

Posted by Alan | Gambling | Tuesday 30 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards has posted most of the bets and gambles that have taken place over most of September and its not been a good September, the only thing I take from it is the wins I have had have just about covered the outgoings and literally its the first month of the year I have ended up down.

This video sets the tone for this post, load it up and carry on reading.

Lets put it like this I normally look up and study random bets all over the place trying to cash in on a quick win and most of the silly little bets have let me down so then I try and re-coup it with bets on football matches which have been so random this month, and when all else fails I play the stupid mans tax, the national or European lottery.

To be honest I cant wait for the new month and for the world to get back to normal.

Champions league bet

Posted by Alan | Fun gambles, Gambling | Monday 29 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards has posted articles about how difficult it is to bet on football matches as its so hard to predict the final outcome.

This is hard when betting on the premiership as the teams in the league this year are all of the highest standard and for instance on Saturday you could have got odds of 50 to 1 on Hull beating Arsenal at the emirates stadium and it happened hull won 2-1.

The betting odds on international matches are very poor and its hardly worth gambling on but I have found over the past few years the early rounds of the champions league are normally a very easy especially if you do an accumulator.

Here are the matches for tommorow I know I will be putting a accumulator and they will be on Man U, Juventus, and Real Mardrid all to win.

UEFA Champions League
17:30 Zenit St Petersburg vs Real Madrid
19:45 AaB vs Man Utd
19:45 Arsenal vs FC Porto
19:45 BATE vs Juventus
19:45 Bayern Munich vs Lyon
19:45 Fenerbahce vs Dynamo Kiev
19:45 Fiorentina vs Steaua Bucuresti
19:45 Villarreal vs Celtic

Counting cards on Sunday

Posted by Alan | Gambling | Sunday 28 September 2008 2:00 am

Today I have managed to be let down once again by the stupid mans tax, aka the national lottery and I’m trying to work put in my life how much I have been robbed so far. It must be well over a thousand pounds because I continue to put the same numbers on every week just in case it actually does bring them up, then you have the Euro millions, when it gets to a massive non rolling over 100 million I always end up in a few syndicates at £1:50 a pop and then think I might as well stick a few of my own tickets on.

This in turn must cost me around £100 a year on side gambles and yet to my dismay I have never won a single penny back, not even a tenner for 3 numbers.

I’m wondering if I should have a year of not putting money on the stupid mans tax and putting it into a savings fund and I’m sure it would make more money?

Anyone else do this?

Counting cards bets on Mark Hughes

Posted by Alan | Fun gambles | Saturday 27 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards today will place a bet on Mark Hughes not lasting the full season.

The new owners of Manchester City have promised to give Mark Hughes lots of cash for him to spend when the next transfer window opens but you have to be honest when the likes of Brighton are knocking you out of the league cup its hard to imagine that the new owners will be to impressed and the thought of a big named manager handling all that cash and luring players in to count the funds seems ever likely when losing games like that.

Lets hope for city’s sake other world class players like Robinho simply take the chance to join city and for Hughes sake keep him in a job and no pun intended Brighton up his season.

Counting cards announces free bets

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Las Vegas roadtrips, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Friday 26 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards can announce that one of the major poker sites out there is doing an amazing offer of sign up and simply receive £600 free to bet with. Betfair is running this offer for a week only and will honour the offer as long as you spend the money in house, any winnings you can acquire you can keep and take home and spend on what you like.

I signed up and gambled all the six hundred in only ten minutes as it wasn’t mine, and ended up winning over £200 which I put into one of my regular accounts and bet quite a bit of it on the football for this weekend. If you also sign up-to William hill you can get £250 but only if its your first time.

There were many more websites with all sorts of offers, I’ve chosen a few from the list based on their requirements and ease of sign-up. I’ve missed some good offers off because they require unique promotional vouchers, which require you to register for several other websites.

Here’s a list of the other offers I found:

  • Will Hill Poker - £250 welcome bonus
  • Betfair Poker - $600 welcome bonus
  • Paddy Power Poker - $600 sign-up offer
  • Paddy Power Poker - $600 welcome bonus
  • Ladbrokes Poker - welcome bonus up to $500
  • Betfred - $600 welcome bonus
  • PartyPoker.com - free $100 welcome bonus
  • 32 Red Poker.com - $35 welcome bonus

Counting cards reveals casinos get sued

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Vegas News, Vegas information | Thursday 25 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards can reveal that when the previous attorney of new york, Arelia Margarita Taveras got on to the stand 7 days ago she put down a claim which added up to $20 million and it was against a collection of 8 casinos and her claim was they had let her down. She is a gambling addict and well and truly hooked plus she lost $1 million in 2 years, then she was sacked for using her clients money to finance the gambling addiction and is up against it as a judge threw it out of court.

Ms Taveras announced eight different casinos all within the lawsuit which all reside in Atlantic City, the 8 were Trump Plaza Casino, Taj Mahal Casino, Tropicana Casino Resort, Showboat Casino Hotel, Bally’s Atlantic Casino plus the prestigious MGM Grand Casino in Vegas. All have tried to get the case thrown out and now they have succeeded.

Ms Taveras is not giving up and is fighting on but the reports are saying she has no chance. The casinos say its all her own fault and she stole from clients and colleagues but you never know in America it could turn around completely.

Counting cards announces Germany bans online poker

Posted by Alan | Gambling, poker | Wednesday 24 September 2008 2:00 am

There has been a move which will definitely put Germany at loggerheads against its EU partners and the reason is online poker has now been made officially illegal anywhere in Germany plus the people caught will be prosecuted. Its obvious that there are plenty of online poker sites still in action in Germany but no one has been prosecuted yet but is the government starting to change its feelings against the online poker community.

The people found playing online poker may not be prosecuted but there may be underhand techniques which will take advantage of this but how?

Germans or players of poker in Germany with a German I.P address may find if they win that they cannot get there winnings. The poker site could simply say you have a German I.P address and we cannot legally pay out any winnings as its illegal. The person who is trying to get there winnings would not have a leg to stand on even if they took it to court.

Any sort of online poker in Germany will definitely be a risk!

1million win

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Vegas News | Tuesday 23 September 2008 2:00 am

A man from Manchester England has cash in on the big one, a 1 million dollar slot machine in Vegas.

The man who was on his honeymoon is said to have stayed in the casino with his new wife and slipped out in the middle of the night because he couldn’t sleep and decided that he would play the big one for a way to try and put him to sleep but after 10 minutes of monotonously filling the machine with coins the man looked up to see alarms going off and the machine going crazy, he initially panicked thinking he had done something wrong until staff joined him and started to congratulate him on his 1 million win.

Do you think it was a calling from his bed to make him go at that particular time or just luck.

I bet that his wife woke and said you can go out in the middle of the night anytime you want if you are going to come home with 1 million dollars.

The thing is if you won 1 million what would be first? What would you do with it?

Would it be the fastest car in the world or these 3?

Counting cards Nokia 6500 for gambling

Posted by Alan | Gambling, poker | Monday 22 September 2008 10:57 am

Counting cards is pleased to announce that, the Nokia 6500 Slide is probably the best phone out there for Gambling online or via a mobile handset.

Not only does the screen have crystal clarity but has a 3.2 mega-pixel camera and 3g TV conferencing.

The screen is is giant in comparison to other handsets and is able to flip images or java games vertical or horizontal, it has an amazing talk time of up to 6 hours which is pretty much the same when it comes to playing games and as most gamblers know, playing a hand of poker or other forms of gambling never take a few minutes but normally a few hours if played properly.

The actual size of the screen is 33.5 x 44.7 mm and it allows the user to use over 16 million colours.

The phone comes installed with a high-roller casino which includes “Hold’Em Poker”, “Hold’Em Poker Tournament”, “Video poker” and “Black Jack”

They are great games as a teaser but it the online capabilities that make the phone so good.

So if its online mobile phone gambling you need or love playing I would definitely recommend this phone as another good point is you can upgrade your phone memory to 4gb and store all the games you want.

WSOP traffic

Posted by Alan | Vegas News, poker | Monday 22 September 2008 2:00 am

I have been writing a lot about the WSOP and now the interest in poker websites has grown and grown some people say its to do with the downfall of the Lehman Brothers and it seems that there may be more to this. All of the really big poker sites have shown a massive increase in traffic – and a lot of them have gained over a 30% rise in September – so is this a phase? Why is poker not affected by the recession?

There are hundreds of opinions and ideas why this is happening in the past few weeks, one is Lehman’s downfall, the WSOP, the WCOOP plus general popular growth. I think the WSOP is the main culprit and I think its the main reason every year it gets bigger and better even stronger.

I just hope all this continues as I love the game and the thrill of winning.

Long Live Poker.
