Microsoft seems to have its finger in most pies and now its trying its luck at the casino scene. Whats going Mr Bill Gates.
The Rio All-Suite Hotel/Casino on the Las Vegas circuit is the 2nd large casino to install the Microsoft Surface which turns out to be very popular when it comes to clientele. The Microsoft surface is a touch sensitive unit/table which gamblers to order drinks forward photos to everyone in the casino and play a large amount of gambling games. Its a big step for Harrah’s Entertainment and its expected now that most of the other casinos will try there luck with the new system.

The system is on trial and it seems that harrahs are possibly adding there own poker/gambling games to the system but only time will tell how these will be received.

With the current economic climate will these machines save money by replacing croupiers or is it just a way of expanding?
