Last year Tuscsonan Ned Shabou quit work and did a brave thing in taking up full time poker, and now he is showing his skills at the wsop it seems to be the right decision. Its the second day of the second event and the wsop 2008 and there are 440 players remaining and Ned is sitting comfortably in 12th place.

The match that he taking part in is setting records as it is the largest amount of players to enter a event in the wsop since it started, the buy in was £1500 and it a general no limit Texas hold em. The event started with 3929 and even though its down to 446 there is a lot of work to be done for ned. Its a great win as the top 387 players will get a prize but the winner will get $830k ish, to do as they please with.

The appearance of Ned is proof in my previous articles about how we will see new faces making there stance in the wsop and how the emergence of poker is still ever growing. Join the fun people and join me in put a small side bet on Ned to get to the final table.
