Scarborough the seaside holiday town has got the go ahead for a 2nd casino. There have been rumours about this for months but now the chat has turned up to be about where the casino will be not whether or not it will be built.

2011 is the date the casino will hit the ground but its being put to tender at the moment. This will bring hundreds of jobs to the area and can only be a bonus when it opens

Compared to the us states it shows how the government are thinking that this will help with taxes and regeneration of the area. The casino gives the area a different side to the town and will bring a whole different clientele.

The problem is some people are stuck in there ways and have already started moaning saying the casino will push out the traditional regulars.
