With only 2 days officially left until the start of the greatest poker tournament in the world the WSOP who is your bet on?
If anyone is going and fancy uploading any photos I will gladly post them along with any interesting stories along the way, just email me or add a comment and I will respond as soon as possible.
The main one I am interested is in 9 days from today the world championship main event in which all the best known and unknown poker players will lock horns and battle it out for the one and only prestigious bracelet.
Spectating is allowed but monitor the times advertised as in the past they change a lot and you don’t get informed and turning up may be a waste of time.
But please do give me a shout when your out there as I love hot news.

So the Poker match of the past 3 months is down to the final two.
Even though the chip count seems even one player is a sure favourite and has won all the big pots tonight.
The total prize stands at £690 and the pace is fast and furious. The chip count stands at about 12000 against 6000 and the blinds are now going up every hand and are now up to 2000/4000 should be over in the next 2 or 3 hands.
So here is our first all in and the underdog with 6000 chips gets lucky and doubles up with a straight.
Second time round and he scoops the second hand also and wins the pot, what a lucky win, but that’s poker its not all skill especially as he won the final hand with a high card, a queen.
As it turns out I’m not as good as i thought i was and my attentions can now turn to the reports and more beer woohoo. Its time to drown my sorrows in Stella.
I lost to a stupid bluff in which I had the lowest pair on the board and played on the ace on the table, which coincidentally was held by the other player the table is down to 3 and as one of the other lads went out at the same time as me.
He was just plain stupid and went all in before the flop with a 7, 2 but then again he was down to his last 300 chips and he was on the big blind.
O well glug glug!!!!!
So three more players have gone since I made my last entry and i have not been able to post as I have had to concentrate more and more the quicker the play becomes, the people who have gone I class as the weak links so I think the play will become slower and were in for the long haul.
The remaining 5 players are playing cautious poker but waiting for the right hand i think i might have to mix up a bit with a few crazy bets to put people on edge.
Ive spoke to soon, one of the lads has taken on the chip leader and is all in. He has Ace, King the chip leader has pocket 6’s. O dear hes out as the chip leader his a six in the flop.
Now the poker match is really starting to heat up and I’m watching a tense stand off between two of the lads as they both raised quite heavily pre flop and now are both staring at a real possibility of going out in this hand. The flop read Ace, King, and a 7 and both players checked.
The next card is a 7 again and one of the lads has raised. The other lad calls and the river cards another King.
They both raise and are now both all in.
The aggressor Julian has a Ace but Chris as it turns has the better hand with a King and takes the pot, so we have our first casualty and the game is back on.

This domain name is up for grabs but does it really relate to betting i.e. bet rival or can you see it as be trivial either way send me a message if anyone wants and I will pass your details to the owner who is sat around the table tonight.
It was originally set up for a gambling site but no one ever got round to completing it so now its sat dormant and needing a new life.
There must be some entrepreneurs out there who see them selves with there own gambling site and will to host or make some money online?
So the half hour mark arrives and everybody bar myself and Julian re-buy trying to up the chip count. Will has to re-buy to have any chance as he had a really bad beat when he had pocket aces and lost to a flush on the river depleting his chips down to 200 and with the blinds going up 50 every half hour it wont be long before he would be sat out and looking up poker news for me to bore people with.
One of the lads is asking if can make a post for him so the next one is his.
The poker cracks on and its still very tentative and nervous but the bets are slowly getting larger and you can see who the dominant players are going to be be.
After the first big hand the plays have tightened up with lots of folds and many of the lads have taken to only calling if the are on the blinds.
Most lads are preempting the re-buy and stocking up now so they have a stronger chance of going all the way.
I’m putting off most people by typing and playing at the same time, i keep telling people that I am looking at poker advice sites in which I am using there techniques.
Where really its just a distraction technique. Incidentally one of the lads has turned up with his mp3 player and earphones and is not saying a word which is funny for a friends game.
