There wont be any sacking of employees at Wynn Resorts because of bad results in the first quarter of 2008, its chief exec said.
Las Vegas Review-Journal quoted Steve Wynn stating that he wont sack workers because of this and blame it on the current excuse of the economy.
He also promises that the current drop in finances will not affect the high standard of service that the casino currently provides.
Not only does wynn have a casino in Vegas but he also has a mega casino in Macau the two most popular gambling zones in the world, but this did not stop him losing 20% of net profits in the first 3 months of 08.
The macau casino did quite well but could not compensate for the vegas losses.
Watch this space and see how the casinos fair in the future.

Tonight I’m having a couple of the lads around to have a mini poker tournament £20 buy and one £10 re-buy. Should be fun as we haven’t had one in house for a good few months and they always start off as drunk and fun and end up serious when the last 2 stand in with a chance of winning £180 or more.
No doubt we will have the poker on SKY SPORTS channel 846 and stay up to all hours with sub games once people get knocked and the main fact is its bank holiday and we are all off tomorrow.
I can already in my head see where its going and it will end up with some serious drinking not much gambling and as people get knocked out they will slide into town and carry on the boozing.
I think the biggest gamble will be how much alcohol will be consumed.
