Gambling @ work

As it turns out today gambling hit an all time new low with my current manager betting a fiver on the chance of a client returning a call and sending a order back in the space of an hour. A simple fiver turns out to be more important than pride and if it was me i wouldn’t even bother claiming the winnings i would simply call in a favour at a later date as you can turn a fiver into more than that with a favour. I would probably choose a couple of sandwiches or 2 pints of Stella as it has gone up in the past month and it equates to at least six quid.

The weekends Gambling!!

So this weekends gambling exploits involved, trying to turn £2 into a minimum of £35 in 4 feeble pushes of a flashing button and playing killer pool for a pot of £20 which turned out to be fun but disappointing as i spent 3 hours playing, getting to the final table with over whelming drunk odds and 3 lives compared to my opponents 1, and instead of playing sensible and winning, i decided to play normally and lost. So the weekends gambling did not go well. I’m planning a comeback mid week with the idea of a small bet on the lottery, the stupid mans tax!! A wasted gamble in my eyes but the if my numbers came up i would be heart broken if i didn’t play.

This month the Golden Nugget are hosting ‘What’s the Deal’.

Blackjack and poker tournaments with a prize pool totaling $80,000 will be held at the Vegas casino between the 25th and 27th of April.

Each tournament has prizes of $20,000 for the winner.

Making the final table of both tournaments will enable the lucky punters to gain $5,000 of freeplay for table games and slots and winning both tournaments will gain a whopping $10,000!

Me, I’m gutted as I am not going now until May :(
