The great fire that engulfed the facade of the Monte Carlo hotel/casino on the strip in Vegas has seen no charges attributed to anyone.
The fire, on 25th Jan this year, was started by by welders who were working on the roof of the building. It was later found out that they did not have the correct work permits.
Over 6000 guests were evacuated from the venue ad it was thought to have cost over $100 million in lost business and damages!
Im sure that the Monte Carlo will be more strict with work permits for contractors in the future…
Wouldnt this be great? Imagine, you’re at Disneyland with the wife and kids, and you could nip out for a quick 2-hour train ride to Vegas on a new proposed maglev train…
The latest in a series of train ventures from LV, this one might have something going for it. With the train being magnetic, it could be the kooky kind of thing that will add to the Vegas mistique. And at 361 miles per hour, would also be as fun to ride as some of the vegas roller coasters.
At only $12 BILLION, it could upset a few US tax payers!
