Last night, in preparation for my trip to Vegas, I played in a £40 freezeout texas holdem game in Stoke-on-Trent, England. From 50 or so runners as they are called, I managed to make the money in 3rd place for about £290 and also had a 20% stake in the eventual winner, Craig Bickerton aka Chicken Little.

Add the money to my winnings from last week in Manchester 235 casino and I have a nice tasty sum to take to the tables in good old LV over the next week or so.

Im currently sitting in the departure lounge at Manchester airport awaiting my 11am flight to New York and then on to Vegas.  Its only a 7 hour flight followed by another 6 hour flight, but the rewards are great!  I have traveled with American Airlines and Delta previously to Vegas and they are pretty much of the same thing to be honest although Delta staff always seem a little more friendly.
