Counting cards announces free bets

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Las Vegas roadtrips, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Friday 26 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards can announce that one of the major poker sites out there is doing an amazing offer of sign up and simply receive £600 free to bet with. Betfair is running this offer for a week only and will honour the offer as long as you spend the money in house, any winnings you can acquire you can keep and take home and spend on what you like.

I signed up and gambled all the six hundred in only ten minutes as it wasn’t mine, and ended up winning over £200 which I put into one of my regular accounts and bet quite a bit of it on the football for this weekend. If you also sign up-to William hill you can get £250 but only if its your first time.

There were many more websites with all sorts of offers, I’ve chosen a few from the list based on their requirements and ease of sign-up. I’ve missed some good offers off because they require unique promotional vouchers, which require you to register for several other websites.

Here’s a list of the other offers I found:

  • Will Hill Poker - £250 welcome bonus
  • Betfair Poker - $600 welcome bonus
  • Paddy Power Poker - $600 sign-up offer
  • Paddy Power Poker - $600 welcome bonus
  • Ladbrokes Poker - welcome bonus up to $500
  • Betfred - $600 welcome bonus
  • PartyPoker.com - free $100 welcome bonus
  • 32 Red Poker.com - $35 welcome bonus

Counting cards reveals casinos get sued

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Vegas News, Vegas information | Thursday 25 September 2008 2:00 am

Counting cards can reveal that when the previous attorney of new york, Arelia Margarita Taveras got on to the stand 7 days ago she put down a claim which added up to $20 million and it was against a collection of 8 casinos and her claim was they had let her down. She is a gambling addict and well and truly hooked plus she lost $1 million in 2 years, then she was sacked for using her clients money to finance the gambling addiction and is up against it as a judge threw it out of court.

Ms Taveras announced eight different casinos all within the lawsuit which all reside in Atlantic City, the 8 were Trump Plaza Casino, Taj Mahal Casino, Tropicana Casino Resort, Showboat Casino Hotel, Bally’s Atlantic Casino plus the prestigious MGM Grand Casino in Vegas. All have tried to get the case thrown out and now they have succeeded.

Ms Taveras is not giving up and is fighting on but the reports are saying she has no chance. The casinos say its all her own fault and she stole from clients and colleagues but you never know in America it could turn around completely.

Casino investment breathes again

As everybody knows the US government jumped in to the guarantee liquidity of the money situation in the US and the  markets investors stacked back into investing in the blue chip casino options with hopes thinking the worst is finished and its time to turn the corner.

Your probably aware that the casino stocks have been down on their normal high levels over the past 12 months, there were some rises:- Pinnacle Entertainment Inc +12.1%, MGM Mirage +4.1% and Las Vegas Sands Corp +9.8%. There were lots of stocks which showed big rises because of commitments to expansion and companies who took big debts on are now struggling to finance it now. But now we see ‘oil’ back in the stock market things are on the up.

With this in mind there are signs that the government are trying to get people to revive the economy by getting shoppers back on the street. Its the answer to get people back into buying again and getting the economy back to normal, and the casinos filling there seats once again.

There are plenty of rumours circulating the poker world but it will be known soon that a group of poker stars will soon be playing on a reality show with a difference. The show is talked about like its a mix between Jackass and poker.

The idea of a name for the show seems to have settled on is ‘House of Cards’ but that’s not set in stone, and we will view online players playing under the title of Krantz, Flawless_Victory, whiteline and FoxwoodsFiend. The gang of players met up on the net along time ago & have gather speed and rose to the top of the league in the poker industry. The gamblers have done it all by doing everything they can to become number and win lots of cash not to mention mixing it with the rich and famous. We will see how much money means to them on this jackass style show but I’m sure it will be fun.

There will be a release of a 30 min pilot episode to be shown very soon which will wet our appetites and can this push the gambling world further even tough most people are struggling financially.

Betting Scam

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Tuesday 19 August 2008 6:52 am

It has been revealed that two brutal murders around the centre of Newcastle have been joined to a Far East Gambling swindle and it has rocked many in the gambling industry. The horrific murder of 2 young Chinese students is now bringing the far east gambling industry to the forefront of the news which rains down over the world.

The swindle has been reveled to include a large amount of football matches all over world the strange thing is that one of the lads who had been kiled had been rcruited to spot. aka, ‘spotters’. The simple idea of part of this scam was to make more of a delay between matches so the scamsters could play larger bets.

There is no proof that the matches are being fixed and there is no proof that this has affected the larger gambling rings in the far east. As there are absolutely millions at stake the whole pa-lava seems to end shockingly and the UK police are no closer to solving the simply horrific crime.

William hill slot winner again

Posted by Alan | Fun gambles, Gambling, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Sunday 17 August 2008 8:45 am

There has been News released that there was another massive win at the William Hill slots site which means that the amount of giant wins in a month is now 3. The last really lucky lady was a United Kingdom resident and goes by the sudanim of SophieM who cashed in on a massive£102,700 which happened on the game machine called ‘Pharaoh’s Treasure’ at the Williams Hill site it cost her only £4.50!

If you look at the other wins of £99,910 which cashed out on the ‘Snow Queen Magic’ slot machine in at the beginning of August plus the £40,749 dropped from the ‘Money Mountain’ at the very end of July, it seems that William Hill slots are making the play in the industry and this is the place to gamble.

The last prize win which was on the 20 pay line ‘Pharaoh’s Treasure’ slot machine was won by a new player who had only been gambling for 2 weeks on the site. The general concenseous is for poeple to play the massive well known poker sites or use a brand name but as its turning out the online slots are just as much in demand. I suppose all the news we hearing could be made up as I’m sure the value of the wins and all the free advertising and reports William Hill is getting from the stories would cost millions.

Warren Cloud lives on!!

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Las Vegas roadtrips, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Saturday 19 July 2008 2:00 am

I have recently talked about the prestigious casino legend Warren Cloud and his untimely death and also mentioned the fact that he had more enemies than most and hence why he had more names than the yellow pages. The great thing is he had so many names he could not be traced around the world and it was even worse for any one trying to track or learn anything about him, the funny thing is even though all this happened he was loved by many. So what happened to his previous career and where is it now.

He had at one time over ten different casinos and they were recouping over 250 million dollars but the casinos and businesses he left behind have all changed vastly with time and 9 of the major money makers having now completely closed but one is still going which is the Silver Sands, which is still thriving.

There was one business which randomly shut in weird circumstances and one was the recognised Real Time Gambling web site who sent mail to people saying that they should close there accounts as its time to go. They had to do this before the 31st of July or lose out. The the whole site just shut without any reason to close at all.

Throughout Warren Clouds whole life he lived a mystery and now he has gone people are still confused, baffled and intrigued into the happenings and history of this so called legend of gambling.

WSOP DOWN TO FINAL 9

Posted by Alan | Gambling, Vegas News, Vegas information, poker | Friday 18 July 2008 2:00 am

Seat 1: Dennis Phillips - 26,295,000
Seat 2: Craig Marquis - 10,210,000
Seat 3: Ylon Schwartz - 12,525,000
Seat 4: Scott Montgomery - 19,690,000
Seat 5: Darus Suharto - 12,520,000
Seat 6: Chino Rheem - 10,230,000
Seat 7: Ivan Demidov - 24,400,000
Seat 8: Kelly Kim - 2,620,000
Seat 9: Peter Eastgate - 18,375,000

The final 9 have been decided as the 10th man fell today at the final hurdle, the only problem is now if one of the players was on a hot streak he will try and have to keep it for 4 months as the final table will be on the 9th of November in the Rio in Vegas.

Its well worth turning up though as the champion will take home over 9 million dollars.

I cant wait myself as there will be a heavy TV presence and thousands of side bets which will match the action, my money is on the salesman Dennis Phillips as he is playing really well and has a good chip lead, but you never know when four months pass he might loose it all.
