American football gang Gridiron the Greats actually arranged a blackjack match to organise and raise lots of money for ex-NFL great players.

Wbay reported that lots of different stars from the massive US sport joined in all the fun with the traditional casino awesome match in New Buffalo, situated in Indiana.

All the Money spent was earmarked for all the ex-professionals in which they never really made it due to injuries and they all need cash for surgical or everyday living costs as they are not able to work now.

It is reported that there was over $20,000 taken for the good cause.

Ex-Green Bay Packers legend halfback Paul the god Hornung was amongst the amazing former greats joining in the blackjack games.

He said that he only receives $900 (£490) a month. Most players nowadays and as far back as 15 years, should if played 11 years and get early retirement, will receive $8,000, quoting “‘you’re not important’”.
